The Eagle Has Landed! 2010 AFGP Awards Begin

Round 1 AFG awards have been announced!

In case you didn't get enough for Thanksgiving, DHS rolled out FY2010 AFG awards on Friday, Nov. 26. The first round of the new awards clocked in at 82 grants, totaling over $5.7 million for fire departments nationwide.

From $1,900 to $996,500, agencies all over the country are receiving critical funding for training, equipment and facilities. Congratulations to all the first-round winners! Everyone else, keep checking your email, and stay tuned each Friday for new award rounds.
